Welcome

Welcome to the Bristol & South Gloucestershire Methodist Circuit. We are a friendly family of 34 churches and two Methodist / Anglican schools and outreach and social projects serving communities across Bristol and South Gloucestershire with a membership that spans all ages. We are part of the wider Methodist Church in Britain and

working with a number of local churches having received Eco Church Awards. We are pleased to have been granted a Bronze Eco Circuit award by A Rocha in July 2023, the first Circuit in the Bristol District to achieve this. Our 2000 members come from many different countries and backgrounds and we aim to help everyone feel at home.

The Circuit oversees, supports and resources local churches in living out the Calling of the Methodist Church in the communities in which they serve through the 'Our Calling Groups' :

Worship - to increase awareness of God's presence and to celebrate God's love

Learning and Caring - to help people to learn and grow as Christians, through mutual care and support

Service - to be a good neighbour to people in need and to challenge injustice

Evangelism - to make more followers of Jesus Christ

The Circuit Office is open Mondays to Thursdays, 10.00 until 4.00. Please either email or phone 0117 951 7044 to make an appointment  to ensure that someone is available.

Rev. Teddy Kalongo,  Superintendent Minister
