CIRCUIT REVIEW
A major Circuit Review has been undertaken in recent months.
The Ministry and Mission of each Church is being discussed and prayed over, and reports on these reviews by Churches and other groups are about to be brought together at the Circuit office.
The following notice was sent in the Bulletin from the Superintendent in February:
"CIRCUIT REVIEW – A reminder for all Senior Church Stewards that each Church Mission Audit needs to be with the church’s minister by 25 March 2012 at the latest. These Audits then need to be returned by each minister to me at the Circuit Office by 30 March, with the vision statement completed in Part 4."
The Audits have now been completed and sent to the Ciruit Office, so now the next stage is in progress:
"After 30 March begins the task of reading through the audits and identifying strands and themes. This work will be undertaken by a small group, comprising a circuit minister, a circuit steward, a lay minister and a layperson.
"I will next draft an initial Circuit Mission Policy, which will be discussed at the Circuit Council on 22 May and the final draft will go to the Circuit Meeting on 12 June."
